Job Description:
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Chief Cook to join a Dredging Vessel operating from Rotterdam, Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all galley operations, preparing nutritious meals for the crew, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring efficient catering services during offshore operations. The role offers a 5-week rotation with joining scheduled for 19 August.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare and serve high-quality meals for the vessel's crew.
Plan menus, monitor food stocks, and manage galley inventory.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley in accordance with food safety regulations.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food supplies.
Comply with company safety, sanitation, and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Cook Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Valid Food Hygiene Certificate
Previous experience as Chief Cook on dredging vessels or similar offshore vessels preferred
Valid Passport
Valid Seaman's Book
Employment Details:
Contract Duration: 5-week rotation
