Job Description:
A leading offshore operator is recruiting an experienced Chief Cook to join a Dredging Vessel operating from Rotterdam, Netherlands. The successful candidate will join the vessel on 12 August and work on a 5-week rotation.
Open Position:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals for the vessel's crew.
- Plan menus and manage food supplies, inventory, and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the galley, pantry, and food storage areas.
- Supervise galley operations and ensure efficient catering services onboard.
- Comply with company HSE procedures and international maritime regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Cook Certificate of Competency (CoC).
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate.
- Seaman's Book.
- Valid Passport.
- Previous experience as a Chief Cook on dredgers or other commercial vessels is preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
