Chief Cook for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description:

Capital Ship Manning Phils. Inc. is recruiting 1 Chief Cook for a Container Carrier Vessel, with deployment required by December 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew and maintaining galley hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare meals for the vessel's crew.
• Plan menus and organize food preparation.
• Manage galley provisions, stock, and inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards.
• Follow onboard food safety and sanitation procedures.

Requirements:

• At least 18 months of experience as a Chief Cook.
• International sea service experience.
• Last sign-off within the past 9 months.
• Valid maritime documents must be available.
• Valid STCW certificates as required.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid U.S. or Schengen visa preferred.
