Chief Cook for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Navilands Marine Inc. is urgently recruiting an experienced Chief Cook for its Container Carrier fleet.

The Chief Cook will be responsible for the daily preparation of meals for the vessel's crew and for maintaining appropriate standards of food hygiene, galley cleanliness, provisioning, and catering operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve daily meals for the crew.
• Maintain high standards of galley hygiene and food safety.
• Manage food provisions, storage, and stock rotation.
• Maintain galley equipment and work areas.
• Follow onboard catering, health, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Cook / Cook certification as applicable
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Previous maritime catering experience
• Relevant Container Carrier experience preferred
• Valid seafarer documents and certificates
• Valid US Visa preferred
• Good English communication skills
