Chief Cook for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description:

Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is currently recruiting an experienced Chief Cook to join a Container Carrier Vessel engaged in domestic trade. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the galley and preparation of meals for the crew, while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness onboard.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Planning and preparing daily meals for the crew.
• Managing galley operations and food supplies.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
• Monitoring food stocks and minimizing waste.
• Following onboard safety and sanitation procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Chief Cook onboard vessels.
• Experience on Container Carrier Vessels is an advantage.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Proficiency in English communication.
