Chief Cook for Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

ASM is seeking a qualified Chief Cook to join its chemical tanker fleet. The successful candidate will oversee galley operations, prepare meals for the crew, manage food provisions, and maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety onboard.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare nutritious meals for officers and crew.
• Plan menus and organize daily galley operations.
• Manage food supplies, inventory, and provisions.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the galley.
• Follow onboard hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Chief Cook on a vessel.
• Experience managing galley operations and food provisions.
• Valid STCW certificates as required for the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
