Chief Cook for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Chief Cook to manage onboard meal preparation and galley operations for the vessel’s crew.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Preparing daily meals in accordance with crew requirements.
• Planning menus and preparing ingredient lists.
• Managing food storage, hygiene, and galley cleanliness.
• Monitoring food supplies and minimizing waste.
• Following food safety standards and onboard sanitation procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Chief Cook on a vessel.
• Experience preparing Greek and European cuisine is required.
• Valid cook qualifications and food hygiene certification, as applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as required.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
