Chief Cook for Supramax/Handy Bulk Carrier Vessels

Job Description

KJCM Maritime Corporation is hiring an experienced Chief Cook to join a Supramax/Handy Bulk Carrier.

The successful candidate must have European Cuisine experience and will be responsible for providing high-quality meals for the crew while maintaining proper galley hygiene, food safety, and catering standards onboard.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare daily meals with a focus on European cuisine.
• Plan menus and manage food preparation according to crew requirements.
• Maintain high standards of galley cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Monitor provisions and minimize food waste.
• Follow company catering procedures and onboard safety requirements.

Requirements

• Previous Chief Cook experience
• European Cuisine experience – Required
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
