Chief Cook for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description:

KJCM Maritime Corporation is looking for an experienced Chief Cook to join a Supramax / Handy Bulk Carrier Vessel.

Candidates must have proven experience preparing European cuisine and be capable of managing the vessel's daily galley operations while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness onboard.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Preparing daily meals featuring European cuisine for the crew.
• Managing daily galley and food preparation operations.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and galley cleanliness.
• Managing provisions and food stores.
• Following onboard health, safety, and sanitation procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Chief Cook.
• European cuisine experience required.
• Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Good English communication skills.
• Relevant bulk carrier experience preferred.
