ob Description:
Al Bireo Maritime People & Performance Inc. is hiring experienced Chief Cooks to join Bulk Carrier vessels for ASAP deployment. The Chief Cook will be responsible for the preparation of daily meals for the crew, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene, managing galley operations, and ensuring proper handling and storage of provisions onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Prepare daily meals and menus for the vessel's crew.
- Manage food preparation and general galley operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the galley.
- Monitor and properly store food provisions and supplies.
- Follow onboard food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant Chief Cook certification and seafarer's documents.
- Previous sea experience as a Chief Cook.
- Bulk Carrier experience is preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage galley duties and maintain high hygiene standards.
