Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for the position of Chief Cook to join an AHTS DP2 vessel operating in the Mediterranean Sea. The planned joining date is 11th May, with an 8/8 weeks on/off rotation.
The Chief Cook will be responsible for managing all galley operations onboard, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and catering services for the crew. The candidate must be able to work efficiently in an offshore environment and maintain compliance with company policies and maritime regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Planning and preparing daily meals for crew members
• Managing galley provisions and inventory
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with maritime regulations
• Supervising and organizing galley operations
• Ensuring compliance with company safety and catering procedures
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid Ship’s Cook Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Previous experience as Chief Cook on AHTS or similar offshore vessels
