Chef for Motor Yacht

Job Description

An experienced Chef is required to join a 46M Motor Yacht currently cruising in the Mediterranean before shipping to the Caribbean.

The yacht is currently operating as a private vessel but is scheduled to enter the charter market next season. The successful candidate will therefore need to be comfortable working within a private program while being prepared to deliver the consistency, variety, presentation, and guest-focused service expected of a charter operation.

The Chef will be responsible for planning and preparing high-quality meals, creating varied menus, maintaining excellent presentation standards, and interacting professionally with owners and charter guests.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Planning and preparing varied, high-quality menus suitable for private and charter guests.
• Delivering consistently high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Adapting menus to guest preferences, dietary requirements, and charter itineraries.
• Maintaining high standards of galley hygiene, organization, and food safety.
• Interacting professionally and positively with owners, guests, and crew.

Requirements

• Previous yacht Chef experience preferred.
• Experience working in private and/or charter environments.
• Strong culinary skills with the ability to provide a wide variety of menus.
• Excellent food presentation and attention to detail.
• Confident guest interaction and professional service approach.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy yacht environment.
• Male or female candidates considered.
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
