Job Description:
Select Offshore is currently recruiting an experienced Camp Boss to join an MPSV operating in UK waters. The position is scheduled to commence on 5 August 2026, with an expected contract duration of 6–8 weeks.
The Camp Boss will be responsible for overseeing the vessel's accommodation and catering operations, ensuring high standards of housekeeping, food service, hygiene and welfare for all personnel onboard. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in an offshore environment and able to maintain efficient camp operations throughout the assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervising accommodation, housekeeping and catering services onboard.
Coordinating catering and domestic personnel and managing daily workload.
Ensuring high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food service.
Monitoring catering supplies, provisions and inventory.
Supporting the welfare and comfort of personnel onboard.
Ensuring compliance with vessel, offshore and company procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Camp Boss or in a similar offshore catering/accommodation management role.
Valid UK Frontier Worker Permit (UK FWP).
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Previous offshore or MPSV experience is advantageous.
Good English communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a demanding offshore environment.
