Baker for Jack-Up Rig (Croatia)

Job Description:

DMC Offshore is seeking an experienced Baker for an upcoming Jack-Up Drilling Rig project in Croatia.

The successful candidate will prepare bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods for offshore personnel while maintaining product quality, safe equipment operation, and high standards of food hygiene.

Croatian candidates are particularly encouraged to apply. Other EU candidates are welcome if they hold or are eligible to obtain a valid A1 certificate.

The assignment is expected to last 60–90 days, with mobilisation as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods for offshore personnel.
• Follow recipes and maintain consistent product quality.
• Operate baking equipment safely and report equipment problems.
• Manage baking ingredients and monitor stock levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in baking and food-preparation areas.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Baker or in a comparable baking position.
• Relevant baking or culinary qualifications, where applicable.
• Valid food hygiene and food-handling documentation.
• Valid offshore safety training and medical certification, as required by the project.
• Good English communication skills.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient storage, and food-safety procedures.
• Croatian candidates particularly encouraged to apply.
• Other EU candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid A1 certificate.
• Availability for immediate mobilisation and the full 60–90-day assignment.
