UK To Remove Andrew From Role As Royal Navy Vice Admiral photo

LONDON, Nov 2 - Britain's former prince Andrew is about to lose his last military position, according to the defense minister, as part of King Charles' decision to remove him from public life.

John Healey stated on BBC television that steps are being taken to revoke Andrew's title as vice admiral in the British navy, and that Charles has made it clear that he wants this action to happen.

Last week, the king took away Andrew's title of prince and removed him from his mansion to protect the royal family's reputation, which has been impacted by Andrew's connections to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Healey commented, “This is the right move. The king has indicated we should take this step, and we are currently working on it.”

Andrew had retained his vice admiral rank in 2022 when he stepped down from his other military roles.
