Location: India / Offshore (US-bound)
Overview:
The Fitter maintains and repairs mechanical components and systems aboard the vessel. Works alongside engineers to ensure all equipment is in safe, working condition.
Main Tasks:
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and machinery
Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections
Assist engineers in repair and installation work
Troubleshoot and correct mechanical failures
Adhere to safety and technical standards
Qualifications:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
English communication skills
Valid U.S. visa
Prior offshore or shipyard experience preferred
Terms:
Contract: Based on rotation
Salary: Experience-based
