Marine Superintendent - UAE WRS requires a Marine Superintendent for our clients fleet of Jack Up Vessels. -Provide Marine expertise & advice -Daily marine support to the vessels and barges. -Ensure marine assurance standards and rig move procedures are suitable and complied with. -Ensure all marine risks are identified and assessed. -Undertake offshore inspections of vessels and barges as per company procedures and prepares written reports in a timely manner for submission to the respective Fleet Manager. -Provide instruction at company simulation centre Required Competencies (skills, experience, knowledge) -Must have good understanding of all marine procedures. -Good knowledge of ISPS, ISM and Classification Society regulations and procedures. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. -High standard of written and verbal English. Qualifications/Certificates - STCW I|/2, Master (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency from white list country (COC must remain valid throughout the employment period) - Minimum two years' experience in the rank as Chief Mate on self-propelled jack ups. - Fluent in written & spoken English.
