Job Description

TOS People is seeking a qualified and experienced Second Officer / SDPO for an upcoming Jack-Up Barge project. The successful candidate will support safe navigation, bridge operations, and offshore positioning activities while carrying out DP-related duties as assigned.

Candidates must have relevant Jack-Up Barge experience and appropriate DP qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bridge watchkeeping and navigational duties as assigned.
• Assist with passage planning and navigational documentation.
• Support DP operations in accordance with vessel procedures.
• Monitor navigational equipment and DP system status within assigned responsibilities.
• Assist with safety inspections, emergency drills, and operational reporting.
• Support deck activities and maintain required records.
• Report equipment faults and operational concerns to senior officers.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Second Officer and/or SDPO on Jack-Up Barges.
• Valid Second Officer Certificate of Competency appropriate to the position.
• Valid DP qualifications and SDPO certification appropriate to the assigned duties.
• Valid STCW certificates and applicable endorsements.
• Valid medical fitness certificate and Seaman's Book, where applicable.
• Knowledge of navigation, watchkeeping, and DP operations.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work effectively within a marine team.
• Availability for the project's mobilisation requirements.
