Job Description:
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently seeking a highly experienced Master SDPO to join a Cable Lay Vessel in Qatar. The project is scheduled for mid to end February. The Master will be responsible for the overall safe navigation, DP operations, and management of the vessel, ensuring efficient offshore construction and cable-lay operations. Candidates must have extensive SDPO experience and prior exposure to cable, pipe, or construction vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Overall command of the vessel and management of onboard operations
• Safe and efficient Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations as SDPO
• Planning and supervising offshore cable-lay and construction activities
• Ensuring compliance with Safety Management System (SMS), class, and statutory regulations
• Leading and coordinating multinational crew for operational excellence
• Managing emergencies, drills, and vessel safety protocols

Requirements:
• Valid Master SDPO Certificate / COC
• Minimum 5 years as SDPO Master
• Minimum 3 years on Cable, Pipe, MPSV construction vessels
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Strong leadership skills and offshore safety awareness
