Position: Chief Officer / SDPO

Job Description:

Chief Officer/SDPO required for SCOV DP2 vessel operating in the USA. Vessel details: Flag Norway, LOA 107 m, ASD 18,654 hp, 1 Crane – 150 t SWL. Contract duration is 4 weeks, joining 10 December.
Candidate must hold valid Chief Officer’s License, DP Full Certificate and DP Logbook. Mandatory experience — minimum 24 months on similar DP2 vessel types in rank of Chief Officer/SDPO with extensive trenching experience. Experience on wind projects in the USA is preferable.
Due to flag requirements, only candidates with a valid EU passport or Ukrainian seafarers with EU residence permit will be considered. Candidate must also hold a valid US visa for wind activities.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, may include but are not limited to:
 • Safe and efficient navigation and DP operations of the vessel
 • Coordination of trenching operations and deck activities
 • Compliance with international maritime and DP safety standards
 • Monitoring onboard equipment and operational systems
 • Managing bridge team and communication with project crew
 • Ensuring vessel readiness for offshore wind operations

Requirements:

• Chief Officer’s License
 • DP Full Certificate
 • DP Logbook
 • Valid US visa for wind activities
 • Minimum 24 months experience as Chief Officer/SDPO on similar DP2 vessels
 • Extensive trenching experience
 • Experience in US offshore wind projects (preferable)
 • Valid EU passport or Ukrainian citizenship with EU residence permit
• All documents and certificates valid for at least 12 months

Wages:

440 EUR per day
