We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Officer / Senior DPO (SDPO) to join a DP2 Diving Support Vessel (DSV) operating on offshore projects in Saudi Arabian waters. The vessel supports subsea and SAT diving operations, requiring a highly qualified officer with strong Dynamic Positioning experience.
The successful candidate will assist the Master in vessel operations, supervise deck operations, and manage DP activities during offshore projects. Candidates must have solid experience supporting saturation diving operations and be ready to join immediately.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Supervising deck operations and assisting the Master in the overall management of the vessel
• Operating and monitoring the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system during offshore and diving operations
• Coordinating with the diving team during SAT diving activities to ensure safe vessel positioning
• Managing safety procedures, cargo operations, and deck crew activities
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Master Mariner License (COC)
• DP Full Certificate
• Solid experience in SAT diving operations (mandatory)
• Minimum 24 months of actual sea service on DSV / DP2 vessels in the rank of Chief Officer / SDPO
• ARAMCO approved candidates are preferred
• Marlins Test with minimum 80% in all sections
• Contract Duration: 60–90 days
• Salary: 500 USD per day
