Job Description

TOS People is recruiting an experienced Chief Officer / SDPO for a Jack-Up Barge offshore project. The successful candidate will assist the Master with vessel operations, supervise the deck department, and perform DP-related duties within the scope of their qualifications and operational authorization.

Previous Jack-Up Barge experience and relevant DP experience are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Master with safe vessel operations and operational planning.
• Supervise deck personnel and coordinate daily deck activities.
• Support offshore operations, mooring, lifting, and positioning activities as applicable.
• Perform SDPO duties in accordance with approved DP procedures.
• Monitor DP system status and report operational abnormalities.
• Coordinate deck maintenance, inspections, and safety activities.
• Maintain relevant operational and safety records.

Requirements

• Previous experience as Chief Officer and/or SDPO on Jack-Up Barges.
• Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency appropriate to the position.
• Valid DP qualifications and SDPO certification appropriate to the assigned duties.
• Valid STCW certificates and applicable endorsements.
• Valid medical fitness certificate and Seaman's Book, where applicable.
• Relevant offshore experience and knowledge of DP operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Good command of English.
• Availability for the required mobilisation schedule.
