Job Description:
TOS People is recruiting an experienced Chief Officer SDPO to join a DP2 Heavy Lift Vessel operating in Brazil. The successful candidate will be responsible for deck department management, offshore operations, dynamic positioning activities, and ensuring safe vessel operations according to international maritime standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Manage deck operations and supervise deck crew
Perform Chief Officer duties during offshore operations
Operate and monitor DP systems during vessel activities
Support heavy lift and marine operations
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maritime regulations
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as applicable
Full DP Certificate (Unlimited) required
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as Chief Officer SDPO
Previous experience on DP2 Heavy Lift Vessels is essential
