A Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer is required for an upcoming offshore project onboard a Pipe Lay Vessel operating in Nigeria.
The project is scheduled to commence mid-February and involves offshore construction and pipe-laying activities in a high-risk operational environment.
The role requires an experienced HSE professional with strong offshore exposure, capable of ensuring full compliance with safety standards, risk management procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout all phases of pipe-lay operations.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Monitoring and enforcing HSE compliance during pipe-lay and offshore construction activities
• Conducting safety briefings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
• Ensuring adherence to permit-to-work systems and company HSE procedures
• Reporting incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
• Promoting a strong safety culture onboard and supporting operational teams

• Valid STCW certificates (as applicable)
• Valid offshore medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• EU nationality (mandatory)
• Proven experience as HSE Officer onboard Pipe Lay or offshore construction vessels
• Strong knowledge of offshore HSE regulations and procedures
