Job Description

An offshore contractor is currently seeking an experienced Rigger for a short-term offshore assignment in UK waters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out rigging operations, supporting lifting activities, ensuring safe handling of equipment, and maintaining compliance with offshore safety procedures and industry standards.

This opportunity is ideal for qualified riggers with valid offshore certifications and the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform rigging and lifting operations safely and efficiently
  • Inspect rigging equipment prior to use
  • Support crane and lifting activities onboard and offshore
  • Ensure compliance with lifting plans and safety procedures
  • Maintain rigging gear and associated equipment
  • Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings
  • Follow HSE policies and offshore operational standards
  • Support offshore project activities as required

Requirements

  • Right to Work in the United Kingdom (mandatory)
  • Valid Offshore Survival Certificate
  • Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
  • Rigger Competence Stage 3 Certification
  • Previous offshore rigging experience
  • Good English communication skills
  • Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
  • Physically fit for offshore work
