Job Description:

We are currently looking for an experienced Rigger to join a Cable Lay Vessel in Taiwan for a short-term cable loadout operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting lifting activities, rigging operations, and ensuring safe cargo handling throughout the project. This is a 2-day assignment with an immediate joining date, ideal for candidates holding all required offshore certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

Perform rigging and lifting operations during the cable loadout campaign.
Assist with the preparation, inspection, and maintenance of lifting equipment.
Act as Banksman/Slinger during lifting activities to ensure safe operations.
Follow all HSE procedures and company safety standards.
Support deck crew with operational tasks as required.

Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Valid GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certification.
Valid passport.
Seaman's Book.
Chester Step certificate.
Rigging certification.
Banksman/Slinger certification.
Previous experience in rigging operations on offshore or cable lay vessels is preferred.
