Job Description
A leading offshore company is currently seeking an experienced Oiler / Waste Controller for deployment onboard a Semi-Submersible Crane Vessel (SSCV) operating in UK waters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for waste management operations onboard, supporting the engine department, assisting with maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and operational standards.
This opportunity is ideal for offshore personnel with previous vessel experience who possess the required UK work authorization and offshore certifications.

Job Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the vessel's incinerator system
- Sort and manage waste in accordance with environmental regulations and company procedures
- Ensure proper waste handling, storage, and disposal processes
- Assist Engineers and Mechanics with repairs and equipment overhauls
- Support routine maintenance of machinery and vessel equipment
- Perform daily maintenance and housekeeping duties within assigned work areas
- Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures
- Maintain compliance with HSE, environmental, and offshore operational standards
Requirements
- UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP) or valid UK Residence Permit
- Valid BOSIET with HUET and CA-EBS certification
- Valid STCW Basic Safety Training certification
- STCW Security Awareness (A-VI/6-1)
- Valid STCW and OPITO-approved Medical Certificate
- Previous offshore or vessel experience preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
- Physically and medically fit for offshore duty
