Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Oiler to join a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge DP2 operating in the North Sea. The contract duration is 8 weeks with an immediate (ASAP) joining date. The vessel is engaged in offshore installation and construction operations, requiring reliable engine room support and strict compliance with safety and maintenance procedures. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

Only EU Nationals holding a valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
 • Assisting engineers with operation and maintenance of engine room machinery
 • Performing routine checks of auxiliary and main systems
 • Lubrication, cleaning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment
 • Supporting engine room operations during offshore activities
 • Reporting technical issues to engineering officers

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates
 • Medical fitness certificate
 • Proficiency in English communication
 • EU Nationals with valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian under UK protection status
 • Minimum 12 months experience as Oiler on similar DP2 vessels or jack-up barges
 • First Class Able Seafarer Engine License
