Job Description:
Atlas NextWave are currently recruiting a Motorman to join our client's Seismic Vessel in UK waters, starting on 18th May for 6 weeks.
Due to the location of the vessel within 12 nautical miles, candidates need to be either UK citizens or hold a UK Frontier Permit.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Engine room watchkeeping and assistance with operation of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
· Routine maintenance, lubrication, and inspection of mechanical equipment
· Compliance with all safety management systems, permit-to-work procedures, and HSEQ requirements
· Keeping engine room spaces clean and maintaining proper records of maintenance activities
· Assisting higher-ranking engineers with repairs and troubleshooting
· Participation in emergency response activities as required

Requirements:
Mandatory Certificates:
· STCW Basic Safety Training – mandatory
· STCW Security Awareness training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties – mandatory
· HUET – mandatory
· STCW Certificate of Competence Motorman – mandatory
· STCW Seafarer Medical – mandatory
· HOIT (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) – mandatory
· HERTM (Helideck Emergency Response Team Member) – mandatory
· Dangerous Goods by Air certificate – mandatory
· Right to Work in the UK Documentation – mandatory
Additional Requirements:
· UK citizen or UK Frontier Permit holder – mandatory (due to vessel location within 12 nautical miles)
· Valid Seaman's Book and Passport
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Availability: Must be available to start on 18th May for 6 weeks
