Job Description:
An urgent opportunity is available for an experienced Motorman to join a Jack-Up vessel operating in the UK. The role involves supporting engine room operations, ensuring safe and efficient functioning of machinery, and assisting engineers in maintenance tasks. Candidates must be ready for immediate deployment and meet all certification requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of engine room equipment
• Support engineers in daily technical operations
• Monitor machinery performance and report issues
• Ensure compliance with HSE and offshore safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the engine room
Requirements:
• MTM Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• OPITO Survival certificate
• Valid STCW certification
• Medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book
• 2 recent Trip Appraisals
• Valid Frontier Work Permit
• GWO Sea Survival certificate
• Proven offshore experience in similar role
