Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanic with a UK FWP (Frontier Work Permit) to join an Accommodation Barge in the United Kingdom. Due to project location, we can only consider UK nationals or crew in possession of the mentioned UK work permit.
Assignment Period: 17th June to 1st July

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment on the accommodation barge
· Inspection and maintenance of engines, pumps, compressors, and hydraulic systems
· Compliance with all safety management systems, permit-to-work procedures, and HSEQ requirements
· Assistance to the engineering team with repairs and maintenance planning
· Keeping mechanical spaces clean and maintaining proper records of maintenance activities

Requirements:
Mandatory Certifications:
· OGUK Medical (or equivalent offshore medical)
· BOSIET (valid offshore survival certificate)
· CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System)
· MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training)
· Compex / Atex (certification for work in potentially explosive atmospheres)
General Requirements:
· UK FWP (Frontier Work Permit) – mandatory (UK nationals or crew with UK work permit only)
· Valid STCW certificates as applicable
· Valid Seaman's Book and Passport
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Availability: Must be available for the assignment period 17th June to 1st July
