Job Description:
Helder Maritiem is looking for several experienced Deck Mechanics to join a specialized offshore pipe-laying vessel operating worldwide. The client is one of the market leaders in the offshore energy sector, specializing in the design and execution of complex offshore projects.
The company operates a fleet of highly specialized vessels equipped with advanced systems and equipment. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on deck equipment, with a strong focus on hydraulic systems, under the supervision of the Shift Leader and First Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform maintenance, inspection, and repairs on deck machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic systems and related components.
Assist with planned and corrective maintenance activities.
Work under the supervision of the Shift Leader and First Engineer.
Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Deck Mechanic in an offshore environment
Excellent knowledge of hydraulic systems
Previous experience on pipe-laying vessels or similar offshore vessels preferred
All certificates and seafarer's documents must be valid and up to date
Valid BOSIET
Valid HUET + CA-EBS
Good command of English
CV must include a detailed list of previous experience, operations, projects, and time served onboard vessels/similar vessels
