Job Description
Maritime Universal is currently recruiting for the position of Captain to join a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge (SPJUB) operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under Saudi Aramco charter. Joining is required ASAP.
This is a long-term opportunity offering competitive market-leading remuneration and stable rotation. The first trip will be 90 days, followed by a rotation schedule of either 60/60 or 45/45.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall command of the vessel, ensuring safe marine operations, compliance with charterer requirements, and adherence to international maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Overall command and safe operation of the SPJUB
• Ensuring full compliance with Saudi Aramco and company standards
• Managing marine crew and onboard operations
• Overseeing navigational safety and stability during transit and jacking operations
• Maintaining effective communication with charterers and onshore management
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of sea time as Captain on SPJUB
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical fitness certificate
• Valid Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner)
• Proficiency in English communication
• Experience working under Aramco charter is considered an advantage
