Job Description:

A vacancy for a Deck Engineer is available on a Heavy Lift Vessel, with joining scheduled for next week. The role involves maintaining and operating deck machinery and equipment critical to heavy lift operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

· Maintenance, repair, and operation of deck machinery (e.g., cranes, winches, windlasses).

· Troubleshooting and fixing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on deck.

· Supporting heavy lift and cargo securing operations.

· Performing routine inspections and ensuring equipment is in safe working order.

· Assisting the engineering department as required.

Requirements:

· Valid STCW certificates.

· Medical fitness certificate.

· Proficiency in English communication.

· Relevant experience as a Deck Engineer or similar role, preferably on heavy lift vessels.
