Job Description
A leading maritime company is currently seeking qualified and experienced seafarers to join its Self Propelled Barge (SPB) fleet.
Successful candidates will support vessel navigation, cargo operations, engine room management, maintenance activities, deck operations, and onboard catering services while ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations and company safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for maritime professionals with previous SPB experience and strong operational knowledge. Candidates with West Africa SPB experience will be given preference.

Catering Department
Job Responsibilities
Deck Department
- Conduct navigation and watchkeeping duties
- Support cargo operations and vessel maneuvering
- Perform deck maintenance and preservation work
- Ensure safe mooring and anchoring operations
- Maintain compliance with maritime regulations
Engine Department
- Operate and maintain propulsion and auxiliary machinery
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Monitor machinery performance and fuel efficiency
- Maintain engineering records and maintenance schedules
- Support safe and efficient vessel operations
Catering Department
- Prepare and serve meals for officers and crew
- Maintain galley cleanliness and food safety standards
- Manage food inventory and provisions
- Support crew welfare and accommodation services
Requirements
General Requirements
- Valid maritime certificates and seaman documents
- Valid STCW certification package
- Valid passport and medical certificate
- Good command of English
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in multinational crew environments
Officer Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) appropriate to rank
- Previous experience in the same rank preferred
- SPB experience will be an advantage
Engineering Requirements
- Valid engineering licenses and endorsements
- Experience with marine machinery and maintenance operations
- Strong troubleshooting and technical skills
Additional Requirements
- Previous SPB experience preferred
- West Africa SPB experience will be considered an advantage
- All certificates and documents must remain valid throughout the contract period
