A marine and offshore company is recruiting experienced maritime professionals to join a multipurpose barge project operating in Dutch waters.
The project is scheduled to commence with various start dates between 17 August and 19 October. Candidates with previous experience in the offshore and maritime industry are preferred.
The successful candidates will support barge operations, offshore lifting activities, marine engineering, and winch operations while maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Perform duties according to the assigned position and project procedures
• Support safe and efficient barge and offshore construction operations
• Operate, monitor, and maintain marine and lifting equipment
• Conduct routine inspections and report equipment defects
• Follow HSE procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work requirements
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency procedures
• Maintain operational readiness and accurate records
• Previous experience in the offshore and maritime industry preferred
• Relevant experience in the position applied for
• Valid STCW certification package where applicable
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and relevant seafarer documentation
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
• Physically and medically fit for offshore/marine work
Barge Master
• Proven experience as Barge Master on offshore or marine construction barges
• Valid Barge Master qualification/certification
• Knowledge of barge stability, marine operations, and construction support activities
Crane Operator – Stage 3
• Proven offshore crane operation experience
• Valid Stage 3 Crane Operator certification
• Relevant lifting and rigging qualifications
• Strong knowledge of offshore lifting procedures
Barge Engineer
• Relevant marine engineering qualifications
• Previous experience as Barge Engineer or in a similar technical role
• Strong knowledge of machinery, maintenance, and mechanical systems
Winch Operator
• Previous experience operating marine/offshore winches
• Knowledge of lifting, towing, mooring, or offshore construction operations
• Relevant offshore training and certification where required
