A Tug Boat / Cable Lay Vessel operating in international waters is hiring experienced crew members for an upcoming offshore project. The operation involves cable laying support and tug operations, and requires competent, safety-focused professionals with offshore or vessel experience.
The rotation may be extended based on project demands, and successful candidates may be offered repeat contracts depending on performance.
Open Positions:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Safe execution of operations onboard tug or cable lay vessel
• Handling mooring lines, anchor gear, and cable operations (AB & Crane Op.)
• Preparation of meals and maintenance of galley/kitchen areas (Cook roles)
• Cleaning, laundry, and general housekeeping (Steward)
• Compliance with international maritime safety and hygiene standards
• Assisting with emergency drills and reporting procedures
• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to your role
• Medical fitness certificate (e.g., ENG1 or equivalent)
• Proficiency in English communication
• Offshore or tug vessel experience preferred
• Crane Operator – valid crane handling certifications required
• Cooks – prior experience in offshore catering preferred
• Steward – prior maritime service experience preferred
• Contract Duration: 6–8 weeks
• Rotation: Possible (based on project schedule and performance)
