Crew for Offshore Project (Central Africa)

Job Description:

Major Energy is currently recruiting experienced offshore personnel for a project in Central Africa.

The project requires Stage 3 Riggers, Rigging Supervisors, Mechanical Supervisors, and qualified Pipefitters. Mobilization is planned for the end of October, with an estimated project duration of 6 weeks.

Candidates must hold valid offshore certification, a valid passport, and a Yellow Fever vaccination.

Available Positions:

• Rigging Supervisors x 2 
• Stage 3 Riggers x 4
• Mechanical Supervisors x 2
• Pipefitters  x 4

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Safely perform rigging, lifting, mechanical, pipefitting, and supervisory duties according to the assigned position.
• Supervise and coordinate offshore work activities while ensuring compliance with project procedures.
• Inspect and correctly use lifting equipment, tools, and associated work equipment.
• Follow offshore HSE procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and safe working practices.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping, and operational safety.

Requirements:

• Relevant offshore experience in the position applied for.
• Valid offshore certificates.
• Valid passport.
• Valid Yellow Fever vaccination.
• Stage 3 certification for Rigger positions.
• Time-served and NVQ qualified for Pipefitter positions.
• Relevant qualifications and experience for Supervisory positions.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in an offshore environment.
