Job Description:
Udya Shipping is actively recruiting experienced seafarers for deployment on Jack-Up Barge operations supporting offshore oil & gas projects. The company is conducting a hiring drive for multiple ranks, with urgent demand for senior engineering positions.
These roles involve working on offshore construction and maintenance projects where jack-up barges are used for stable platform operations. Candidates will be part of a skilled offshore team responsible for ensuring safe vessel positioning, equipment operation, and overall project execution under strict HSE standards.
Open positions include: Master, Chief Officer, Chief Engineer (Top Urgent), Second Engineer, Second Officer, 3rd Engineer, HSE Officer, Crane Operator, AB, and Oiler.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Managing safe jacking operations and offshore project activities
• Operating and maintaining engine, deck, and lifting equipment
• Supervising crew and ensuring adherence to HSE standards
• Supporting offshore construction and maintenance operations
• Performing inspections, maintenance, and operational tasks onboard
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Senior Officers: Minimum 2 years experience in rank on Jack-Up Barges
• Junior Officers & Ratings: Minimum 1 year experience in rank on Jack-Up Barges
• Valid Unlimited CoC (India / UK / Singapore / New Zealand) for applicable ranks
• All certificates must be valid and up to date
