Job Description

Anglo-Eastern is inviting applications from qualified and experienced maritime professionals for multiple positions aboard tug boats.

We are seeking competent deck officers, an Electro-Technical Officer, and deck ratings to join the fleet. Candidates should have relevant experience in their applied positions and hold valid maritime certificates and professional qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

Chief Officer / Chief Officer DP

• Supervise deck operations and assist the Master with safe vessel management.
• Coordinate deck crew activities, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Support vessel positioning and offshore operations in accordance with DP procedures, where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and onboard safety requirements.

Second Officer / Second Officer DP

• Perform navigational watchkeeping duties and assist with passage planning.
• Maintain navigational equipment, charts, and relevant records.
• Support safe vessel operations and participate in emergency drills.
• Perform DP-related duties where applicable and in accordance with assigned qualifications.

Electro-Technical Officer (ETO)

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair electrical equipment.
• Support the reliable operation of vessel systems and maintain technical records.

Bosun

• Supervise deck ratings and coordinate routine deck activities.
• Maintain deck equipment, mooring systems, and safety gear.
• Assist with maintenance, inspections, and safe deck operations.

Able Seaman (AB)

• Carry out deck maintenance, cleaning, and painting.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and other deck operations.
• Perform lookout and watchkeeping duties when assigned and qualified.
• Participate in safety drills and follow onboard procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in the position applied for.
• Valid Certificate of Competency, professional license, or Certificate of Proficiency as applicable to the rank.
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the applied position.
• Valid Seaman’s Book and medical fitness certificate.
• DP qualifications and relevant DP experience for DP-designated officer positions.
• Relevant electrical and technical qualifications for the ETO position.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work effectively as part of a professional crew.
• Availability to meet the employer’s joining requirements.
