Job Description
Navis is recruiting an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join a CONRO vessel operating between the Spanish mainland and the Canary Islands. The successful candidate must hold a valid ETO license and have substantial experience in the same rank on similar vessel types.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and troubleshooting the vessel’s electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems.
- Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment and machinery.
- Monitoring the safe and reliable operation of power generation and distribution systems.
- Assisting with fault-finding, repairs, inspections, and testing of electrical and electronic equipment.
- Maintaining accurate technical records and ensuring compliance with company safety and maintenance procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) License.
- Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience as an ETO on similar types of vessels.
- RoRo vessel experience is preferred.
- English test completed within the last 3 months.
- Valid CoC, Endorsement, and all required STCW certificates.
- Valid medical certificate.
- Good English communication skills.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as specified by the recruiter.
