ETO for Research Vessel (Qatar)

Location: Qatar

Job Description:
Seaworks Company is recruiting an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join a research vessel operating in Qatar. The ETO will be responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of electrical, electronic, and technical systems onboard.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor electrical equipment and identify technical faults.
• Support safe operation of onboard technical systems.
• Follow electrical safety and isolation procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid ETO Certificate of Competency/qualification.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant endorsements.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant experience in a similar position.
• Good English communication skills.
