Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Single Engineer to join a Research Vessel operating in the Belgium / Netherlands region. This is a short-term assignment scheduled to start on 17th of May, with an estimated duration of 5–7 days.
The role involves supporting vessel engineering operations during research activities. Candidates must be able to work independently as the sole engineer onboard.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Independent operation and maintenance of vessel engine room systems
Monitoring and ensuring safe performance of machinery onboard
Supporting safe execution of research operations from an engineering standpoint
Conducting routine inspections and troubleshooting technical issues
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures
Requirements:
Valid COC (Engineer Officer)
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Proven experience as Single Engineer or equivalent role onboard
EU citizenship (mandatory)
