Job Description

Navis is recruiting an experienced Electrical Rating to join a CONRO vessel operating between the Spanish mainland and the Canary Islands. The successful candidate must hold a valid Electrical Rating’s License and have relevant onboard experience on similar vessel types.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the maintenance and repair of the vessel’s electrical systems and equipment.
• Supporting the ETO and engineering team with electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
• Monitoring electrical equipment and reporting defects or abnormalities.
• Carrying out assigned electrical maintenance tasks in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment and complying with onboard safety requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Electrical Rating’s License.
• Minimum 18 months of actual onboard experience on similar types of vessels in the rank of ETO.
• RoRo vessel experience is preferred.
• English test completed within the last 3 months.
• Valid CoC, Endorsement, and all required STCW certificates.
• Valid medical certificate.
• Good English communication skills.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as specified by the recruiter.
