Job Description

TOS People is recruiting an experienced Electrician to join a Jack-Up Barge offshore project.

The successful candidate will carry out electrical inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to support the safe and reliable operation of vessel electrical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and installations.
• Troubleshoot faults in electrical power and distribution systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.
• Check electrical motors, panels, wiring, and control equipment as assigned.
• Maintain records of inspections, defects, and completed work.
• Follow electrical isolation and lockout/tagout procedures as applicable.
• Coordinate with engineering personnel to maintain equipment readiness.
• Comply with electrical safety procedures and offshore HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as an Electrician on Jack-Up Barges or similar offshore vessels.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and professional certificates.
• Valid STCW certificates and other required maritime documents, where applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate and Seaman's Book, where applicable.
• Good knowledge of marine electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Good English communication skills.
• Availability for offshore mobilisation as required.
