Electrician for AHTS Non-DP Vessel

Job Description:

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is looking for a qualified Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems aboard a non-DP AHTS vessel. The role supports vessel reliability by ensuring electrical equipment and systems operate safely.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Inspect and maintain electrical installations and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out repairs.
• Assist with generator, motor, and distribution system maintenance.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and maintain service records.

Requirements:

• Relevant electrical qualifications and experience.
• Previous shipboard experience, preferably on AHTS vessels.
• Valid STCW certificates as required for the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
