Job Description:
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently seeking a 2nd Officer DPO to join a Cable Lay Vessel in Qatar. The position is immediately available. The 2nd Officer DPO will assist in DP watchkeeping, offshore cable-lay and construction operations, and support the bridge and engineering teams in safe vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations and watchkeeping
• Supporting cable-lay and offshore construction activities from the bridge
• Monitoring navigation, machinery, and DP systems to ensure safe operations
• Maintaining accurate operational and technical logs
• Following vessel SMS, class, and statutory regulations
• Assisting in emergency drills and safety compliance

Requirements:
• Valid 2nd Officer DPO / STCW certificates
• Minimum 1 year experience on Cable, Pipe, or MPSV Construction vessels
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Prior DP watchkeeping experience and offshore safety awareness
