Location: United Kingdom / North Sea
Atlas NextWave, a company specialised in Offshore Marine operations, is currently seeking an experienced 2nd Officer DPO for a temporary contract onboard a PSV DP2 operating in the UK North Sea.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting safe navigation and dynamic positioning operations in accordance with company procedures, DP guidelines, and international maritime regulations. This role is suitable for offshore professionals with strong DP experience and eligibility to work in UK internal waters.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Master and Chief Officer in vessel navigation and DP operations
• Maintaining DP watch in compliance with IMCA and company DP procedures
• Monitoring vessel position, propulsion, and power systems during operations
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Participating in drills, safety meetings, and operational briefings

• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the rank
• Valid DP Unlimited / FULL DP certificate (mandatory)
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Eligibility to work in UK internal waters (mandatory)
• Previous experience on PSV DP2 vessels is required
