Job Description
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Second Officer DPO to join a DP2 Geotechnical Drilling Vessel operating in the Netherlands, with mobilization between 26th–29th April. The contract duration is 5–8 weeks.
The vessel will also operate in UK waters; therefore, a valid UK work permit is mandatory. Candidates must additionally hold a valid drug and alcohol test certificate issued within the last 12 months.
The successful applicant will support bridge operations and maintain DP watchkeeping duties in accordance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining a safe navigational watch
• Operating and monitoring the DP system during offshore operations
• Assisting the Master with passage planning and navigational documentation
• Ensuring compliance with ISM and safety procedures onboard
• Coordinating with engine room and deck departments during DP operations
Requirements
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) – OOW or higher
• Valid DP Unlimited Certificate
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical fitness certificate
• Passport
• Seaman’s Book
• Valid UK work permit
• Valid drug and alcohol test (issued within the last 12 months)
• Proficiency in English communication
