Deckhands for Hopper Dredger Vessel (UK)

Job Description:

We are looking for qualified Deckhands to join a Hopper Dredger operating in the UK. The position is offered on a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation, with joining scheduled for 28 October 2026.

Candidates must be European residents with a valid UK work permit. A II/5 qualification is specifically required for the Deckhand position, together with the specified offshore and medical certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out general deck operations and maintenance.
• Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and dredging-related deck activities.
• Maintaining deck machinery, equipment, and work areas.
• Assisting deck officers and crew during daily vessel operations.
• Following onboard safety and offshore procedures.

Requirements:

• European residence.
• Valid UK Work Permit / UK FWP.
• II/5 certification required.
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable.
• GWO Working at Heights certificate.
• GWO Sea Survival certificate.
• Valid OGUK Medical.
• Relevant Deckhand / deck experience.
• Availability to join on 28 October 2026.
